Fall Fun in Central Ohio

October is such a great time to get outside and enjoy great fall food and activities! Here's a few local spots that are so fun in the fall. Plus, you can find Martha's products at these places too! Lynd's Fruit Farm is known for their apples and their corn maze. They have a great selection of fall produce (including so many varieties of pumpkins!) and pick-your-own apples Friday through Sunday. Also on weekends you can enjoy your favorite fall foods from the food vendors just outside the market. Pigeon Roost Farm is known for their fall family fun activity center, hayrides, and lots of pumpkins. Got active kids? They will LOVE this place! There's so much to see and do, including a corn maze, an obstacle course, a paintball range, and SO many other activities. And of course there's lots of pumpkins! The Collective in Newark is a great fall destination for shoppers and creators who love to find unique and handmade treasures. Get a jump start on your holiday shopping, and take advantage of expertly-instructed workshops where you can create beauty. Some upcoming workshops include creating a chalkboard, arranging a succulent pumpkin display, making a vision board collage, decorating Halloween cupcakes, making a sleigh, and learning photography basics. The Local Talent Marketplace packs so much into their small Pataskala shop. This is a great destination for explorers and shoppers! They feature a fabulous variety of creative products all made locally. Matchmade Designs Grand Opening is this weekend! It's Friday, October 4 through Sunday, October 6th. They will be at 14 W. Main Street in Alexandria, Ohio, formerly known as Market and Domain. Stop in and meet them! They will be your go-to people when you want something customized or would like unique decor or furniture for your home or for a gift.
